Dr Priscilla Orleans Kpodoh

Priscilla is a vibrant and eclectic Physician Specialist with Membership in both the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the West African College of Physicians. She works with the Internal Medicine Department of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, and runs Physician Specialist clinics at the Sam-J Specialist Hospital, also in Accra. With her passion for the elderly, she is seeking to pursue a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine with the West African College of Physicians. She has a background in Health Policy, Planning and Management with growing competency in Monitoring and Evaluation and has an ultimate goal to contribute to the establishment and management of a comprehensive geriatric healthcare system across the subregion as life expectancy improves across the globe. As a former radio host of Doctors on Class, her interest in health advocacy has led her to champion health education on several health topics on many platforms. She is also signed up as a Medical Claims Reviewer and Clinical Auditor with Acacia Health Insurance.
She is a tutor at heart and enjoys mentoring and guiding junior colleagues in their clinical practice. She has joined myriad conversations on improving health care delivery in Ghana and seeks to be a voice for the patient and health worker esp for the aged population.
